Tom Jamieson is a photographer based in London, UK.
His work ranges from disenfranchised Iranian youth, immigration in Greece, Cornish trawler-men, the Mayan Apocalypse and most recently the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and have appeared in The New York Times, Monocle, The Telegraph Magazine, The FT Weekend Magazine, WIRED, GQ, CNN, TIME, HUCK, Dazed and Confused, VICE, The British Journal of Photography, amongst others editorial clients.
His work has been recognised in the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize and the Prix Bayeux Calvados Award for War Correspondents as well as being awarded as a winner in Magnum Photos 30 under 30, the Canon / Royal Photographic Society Undergraduate Bursary, a scholarship to attend the Foundry Photojournalism Workshop in Istanbul and an IdeasTap Innovators Grant.
He has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, FOTO8 / HOST Gallery, Margaret Street Gallery and Third Floor Gallery and was listed as one of the BJP's 'Graduates to Watch in 2012'. In 2014 he was invited to take part in a visiting lecturer series at Cambridge University on the subject of documentary photography.
Tom interned at VII Photo in New York in 2011 and graduated from University College Falmouth with a First- Class Honors degree in (BA) Press & Editorial Photography in 2012.
